Operational characteristics of the route include:

• A 53-mile section of track between London Paddington and Oxford.
• Modern signaling and track layouts reflecting real-world operations.
• Diverse environments ranging from dense urban surroundings to rural Oxfordshire.
• Multiple career scenarios and free roam mode options.

Included rolling stock and locomotives:

• Class 43 High Speed Train (HST) in Great Western livery.
• Class 166 Thames Turbo Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU).
• Class 47 Diesel Locomotive.
• Associated passenger coaches and freight wagons.

Gameplay focuses on maintaining tight passenger schedules and managing freight logistics. Users must adhere to speed limits, signals, and station stops while navigating the four-track main line. The integration of different locomotive types requires varying driving techniques, from high-speed intercity services to local commuter stops.
