The legend returns

The House of the Dead was originally released in 1996 as an arcade rail shooter, which was later ported to PC and consoles. Now it's introduced to a whole new generation of players as The House of the Dead: Remake improves the classic gameplay and adds modern graphics while staying true to the original gameplay. Also, the story stays intact, so players will follow Thomas Rogan and G, who are trying to stop Dr. Curien, a mad scientist turning people into zombies.

The remake

The new version of The House of the Dead offers significantly improved graphics and gameplay enhancements. Moreover, the new game mode lets you face countless hordes of enemies. The remake also comes with other modern features, such as a photo mode, achievements, and local multiplayer for two players.

Gameplay

The House of the Dead: Remake, similarly to its predecessor, is a rail shooter. Consequently, the protagonist walks himself while players have to focus on targeting and decimating approaching enemies. The game features multiple endings depending on your performance. Hence, the better you play and the better your score is, the higher the chances are that the story will find a positive outcome.
