About the base game:

In the thrilling world of KILLING FLOOR 2, players find themselves immersed in a devastating outbreak that has engulfed continental Europe. This catastrophic event stems from the failed experiment of Horzine Biotech, resulting in a rapid and unstoppable spread of deadly specimens. The European Union is left paralyzed, as the outbreak cripples governments, communication networks collapse, and military forces are decimated. In this post-apocalyptic setting, survivors are forced to seek refuge and employ their survival instincts.

However, amidst the chaos, a courageous group of civilians and mercenaries refuse to surrender hope. United by a common cause, they have established privately funded operation bases across Europe to combat the relentless zed menace. Armed with determination, players embark on dangerous missions, tracking specimen clone outbreaks and venturing into infected hot zones to eliminate the abominations that threaten humanity's survival. Prepare to face hordes of formidable enemies as you join the fight against the outbreak in this thrilling and action-packed adventure.
