More than a strategy

Gord is a game that ingeniously blends elements of strategy, adventure, city-building, and survival genres. The game is enveloped in a dark fantasy world inspired by Slavic mythology. Embodying the role of the leader of the Tribe of the Dawn, you are obliged to ensure the welfare of your people. Building and upgrading settlements is imperative, but there is more to your task than that. You must venture beyond your village's fortifications and brace the ominous woods teeming with formidable dangers.

Please the gods

In Gord, building and improving your settlement goes beyond constructing new structures and stronger palisades. It's crucial to consider the well-being of every member of the tribe. From hunger to diseases, there are numerous factors that can impact the sanity and vitality of your community. Remember, your tribe's strength is as good as its weakest link. Fortunately, there are countless ways to keep your community robust, including otherworldly ones. You can even please the gods and gain their favor, unlocking new abilities to defend your tribe and defeat your enemies.

Explore the forest

In addition to building your settlement, Gord offers an opportunity to delve into the mysterious surrounding forests to complete side quests. Here, you'll discover countless secrets and random encounters, with pages torn from The Chronicle, the esoteric tome containing the secrets of your tribe, scattered throughout. Beyond the campaign, Gord introduces the Custom Scenarios mode, empowering you to craft your own challenges.

Premiere and platforms

Gord's premiere date is August 8, 2023. The game is available on Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 5, and PC.
